The X Factor tour seems to be a hotbed of romance and after Zayn malika nd Rebecca Ferguson hooked up during last year’s series of UK concerts, it seems the show has thrown up another couple for 2012.
Insiders say that Little Mix’s Leigh-Anne Pinnock has started dating Misha B’s favourite The Risk member Ashford Campbell, after becoming close to him as they traveled the country.
Earlier this month, Leigh-Anne and Ashford were pictured looking cuddly and insiders say they are now in the first throes of love.
Leigh-Anne dumped her long term boyfriend while appearing on The X Factor last year, saying that she didn’t have time for a relationship. Soon afterwards Ashford teased that he actually quite fancied the beauty and joked that he would try to make a move on her on tour.
It seems he was successful!
The singer previously hinted: “She’s single, I’m single, who knows? Maybe one day, but at the moment we’ve both got tasks in hand, so we’ll just stay friends.
“We’ll see what happens on tour…”
A friend of fellow Little Mix singer Jade Thirlwall told Now that there was always ‘chemistry’ between the pair but that it didn’t lead anywhere last year, because she was in a relationship.
They said:
‘They were always flirting backstage at The X Factor.
‘She was attached so nothing happened, but there was chemistry.’
A spokesperson for The X Factor had no comment.
Ashford is lucky that he is even on The X Factor tour, as he originally competed in the ITV show last year in boyband Nu Vibe. However, after they were eliminated in the early stages and Ashley Baptiste announced he was leaving The Risk, he was replaced with Ashford.
Ash performed for only one week on The X Factor with The Risk before they too were voted off.
