Readers of Entertainmentwise have decided with an overwhelming majority that Little Mix are the best group of 2011.The four-piece, made up of Perrie Edwards, Jade Thirlwall, Leigh Anne Pinnock and Jesy Nelson, were formed on The X Factor and have only been propelled to fame in recent weeks.They have been at the top of the charts twice in the last three weeks - as part of the series' finalists on 'Wishing On A Star', and on their own with a cover of Damien Rice's 'Cannonball'.
The girls polled a massive 67.13% of the vote to earn the accolade, with runners-up The Wanted trailing on 15.03%.
Take That came third, and the respective successes of Harry Judd and Dougie Poynter onStrictly Come Dancing and I'm A Celebrity helped McFly take fourth place.
The Top 10 was completed by Jedward, LMFAO, Coldplay, One Direction, JLS and Steps in that order.Maroon 5, Rizzle Kicks, The Saturdays, Westlife and the Glee Cast were also put forward for your consideration, but each polled fewer than 1% of the
votes.
