X Factor winners Little Mix have revealed their debut album will be a mix of urban hip hop and old school pop music.
The girls, who have already started recording tracks for the record in Brighton this month, are set to release the LP by the spring.
“We’re working with Andrea Martin who wrote En Vogue’s song Don’t Let Go. It’s so cool. I hope she likes our version,” Jade Thirlwall told the Daily Mirror today.
Perrie Edwards added: “We’re going a bit urban, old school with a bit of pop. We wanna bring back old school harmonies.
“And Jesy beat-boxes and Leigh-Anne raps, so we’re trying out different things.”
And Leigh-Anne explained that the girls were also getting involved in the writing process.
“We want to make the album the best it can be,” she said. “But it will be that RnB/Hip-Hop/pop mix, we’re all co-writing our stuff and we are going to put our own creative spin on it. We have so many ideas – it’s exciting times
