It’s been a bit quiet on the Little Mix front for the past couple of weeks. After they washed off the glitter and glitz from the X Factor final it was back to business for the winners. And according to reports today the girls have big plans for this year, they hope to release their debut album as early as this spring!
Traditionally X Factor winners don’t release their debut until the winter, giving them the opportunity to promote the first single on the X Factor live shows and off course have plenty of time to find the right material. Little Mix though seem to know exactly what they want from their first batch of songs, they’ve even asked Tulisa and Jessie J to duet with them!
According to an insider the group have been in talks with both Jessie and Tulisa about the album and whilst nothing’s set in stone it looks like the two singers will appear on separate tracks, The original plan, as laid out by Little Mix’s bosses at Syco, was for the three acts to form a supergroup. But apparently this has now been scapped as Jessie wants to record her own separate duet with Tulisa for her album! These lot really love each other don’t they?
